Manuelle guibalは1991年にスタートしたフランスのファッションブランド。
デザイナーのマニュエル・ギバルがパリのアトリエで生み出すアイテムは、通年身につけることのできるシンプルなデザインでありながら、素材選びやシルエットにどこか女性らしさが感じられます。
一度袖を通すと、その着心地のよさと素材へのこだわりが伝わってくるアイテムが揃います。
日常生活にインスパイアされ、着る人の個性を引き立たせるようなデザインが魅力的です。
Manuelle guibal is a French fashion brand launched in 1991.
The items created by designer Manuelle Guibal in her Paris atelier have simple designs that can be worn all year round, but the choice of materials and silhouettes give them a certain atmosphere.
Once you try on the sleeves, you can feel the comfort of the items and the attention to detail in the materials used.
Inspired by everyday life, the designs are appealing because they accentuate the individuality of the wearer.

天井の高い、白でまとめられた壁と、フランスらしい素朴さを活かした木製のフローリングでとてもお洒落な雰囲気。
Manuelle guibal has a studio located on a small island cité along the Seine River in Paris.
It is famous for the nearby Notre Dame Cathedral.
It has a very stylish atmosphere with high ceilings, white walls, and wooden flooring with a rustic French feel.

私達がパリの展示会に訪れると「お～よく来たね～！」という温かい雰囲気でハグしながら迎えてくれます。

When we visited her exhibition in Paris, we were greeted with a warm “Oh, welcome! and she welcomes us with a warm hug.
Her family plays a central role in running the brand, and they are all very friendly and kind.
いつもホームページやルックブックに登場するみなさんもいらっしゃって、なんだか有名人にあったような嬉しさがあります。

今回はまだManuelle guibalのアイテムを手に取られたことのない皆さんにも知って頂けるようにその魅力を2つに絞ってご紹介します。

①ブランドが独自に開発した風合いの生地
マニュエルギバルでは様々な素材や生地でかわいいアイテムが制作されていますが、まず初めに外せないのはコットンポプリンです。
コットンポプリンは細い糸を高密度に織り上げた程よくハリのある生地のことで、様々なブランドも使っているので、もしかしたら皆さんの身近にもあるかもしれません。
そんなコットンポプリンなのですが、マニュエルギバルでは独自にそれを開発しているだけあって、他のブランドの生地などと比べてみるとその違いがよくわかります。
①Fabrics with textures uniquely developed by the brand
Manuel Guibal produces wonderful items in a variety of materials and fabrics, but the first one that cannot be missed is cotton poplin.

リネン特有の質感が洗濯をしてもある程度残るように設計されています。
４年くらい着ているセットアップは徐々に色がフェードして自分の普段着として馴染んできた感じがしています。

② Product-dyed nuanced color
